Wiha Tools introduced a new intern program for the summer of 2018. With the growth Wiha Tools is experiencing, they were able to offer high school and college students an internship opportunity. Wiha Tools designed the program to give aspiring business professional the chance to test their aspirations and contribute to an organization before entering a full time professional position.
Interns Vincent Di Perno, Adam Schroer, Mason Krinke, and Isabel Ledin joined the Wiha team working in various areas ranging from customer service, assembly, marketing, and photography. “It has been a great experience learning the workings of a business,” said, Intern Isabel Ledin.
The interns have completed tasks such as learning to invoice distributor orders by customer service, assembling product sets with the warehouse team, working with marketing, and social media doing various jobs including photography for the catalogs and shooting product videos for the internet.
Patrick Di Perno, Managing Director comments, “Our summer interns have been a welcomed addition to the team. I am looking forward to exploring the program in the future to give more students the opportunity to build their work experience.”
