JDCMiller MotorSports will once again compete with the electric-yellow Porsche 963, boasting an impressive 680 hybrid horsepower generated from the innovative hybrid motor. The sophomore year of the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class brings new competition with it, and the team is eager to race alongside them.

JDC-Miller’s driver lineup features a few new faces this season. Richard Westbrook joins Tijmen van Der Helm for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, while Phil Hanson joins for the Michelin Endurance Championship rounds. Ben Keating will be joining the team for the 24 Hours of Daytona in January.

Westbrook, the returning JDC-Miller driver, piloted the team’s Cadillac DPi in 2022 and contributed valuable experience in the 2023 WEC season with an LMDh. Phil Hanson, a notable addition, secured a 2020 LMP2 class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Tijmen van der Helm, entering his second season with the 963, brings significant experience to the 2024 season, and the endurance racing veteran Ben Keating further strengthens the team. Undoubtedly, JDCMiller is poised to be a formidable force.

In recent discussions with both parties, there is palpable excitement for the season ahead. John Church, Managing Partner of JDC-Miller MotorSports, expressed, “We were very pleased with our 2023 season with the Porsche 963 GTP. For 2024, we will have a balance of youth and experience, but more importantly, all our drivers will have extensive prototype experience in IMSA.
