    Handle replacement.

"I have always liked the tool set that this handle is part of. Unfortunately, I misplaced the handle and one Philips bit. This was just to replace the handle."

    This is a terrific product.

"This is a terrific product. It is well made to exact tolerances. I would pay quite a bit more than I did to get this tool again."

System 4 ESD Safe Precision Handle

"[Order No. 1000114485] Hello dear WIHA engineers and customers! Greetings from another mechanical engineer! So, here I am )) and this is my "valuable" )) review about WIHA System 4 series product - ESD Safe Precision Handle [MPN: 28000]. First - excellent packaging of this (and any) WIHA product. Thanks! This item (handle) made in Germany. And You can find some specs on the packaging (plain text). But if You are patient enough, don't miss photo on this packaging (back). This photo contains important information! It's like a guide - how to use this handle properly. And here is a "secret" - You MUST HAVE another WIHA product (Microbit Extension System 4 [MPN: 75900]) to use this bit holder (ESD Safe Precision Handle [MPN: 28000]). These two items works together "as one" screwdriver/bit holder. Unfortunately, I can't find this prercaution in the WIHA's online store (e.g. "buy two items"). So, if someone buys MPN 28000 without MPN 75900 - problem can occur. And this problem is an attempt to use removeable microbits directly with MPN 28000. Because in this case it is hard to extract microbits without extra force (or pliers). This can damage the bits. But another problem can happen too. MPN 28000 has a 4mm deep hexagonal bore inside it. This internal bore length - approx. 59 mm. If axial force during screwing / unscrewing is greater than the total friction between the holder and the bit - Your bit may get lost inside this deep bore. And there will be a problem - to push it out from the opposite side. So, here is my opinion: this handle and its package should have warnings (printed on it, text or graphics), for example: DO NOT USE DIRECTLY WITH BITS. ADAPTER 75900 REQUIRED. As for MPN 28000 plus MPN 75900 - is an absolutely must have tool. Non-magnetic holder - for watch repair, and any kind of sensivitive precise mechanics. And if You need MPN 75900 as a non-magnetic length extender - You can use it with any WIHA System 4 magnetic handles (with a short internal hexagonal bore and magnet inside). And all will be alright. )) By the way - as I see, all WIHA handles have a plastic hexagonal reciever for bits. But I don't think this is a big problem - due to the low torque for compatible screw and nuts. Thank You for watching! And I'm so sorry about my english. Have a good day!"
