These are great, always have been - don't like the new black housing

"We've had several of these over the years plus some off brands and the new compact Klein. There's nothing magical, just two decent magnets and you work the fields. Demagnetizing seems tricky for everyone but it can be done with the right technique - the small precision driver shafts are harder. Be aware that most 1/4" hex bits don't accept magnetism all that great but they'll take a little. . . works a lot better on normal mild tool steel/shafts. I miss the old classic mint green color - easy to spot on the bench or stuck to a tool cabinet, easy to spot inside a tool bag. Black seems like a cost savings but it would be nice to have some sort of non-neon color again."

Throw one in every tool kit

"While these are no replacement for expensive magnetic drivers, they do great for any existing driver set to magnetize the ends. Critical for small fasteners in hard to reach places. I bought a few and added them to every toolkit!"
